Recently there was a post about nonexistence of sati rite in sastras. Here are few
references:

* Gandhari - Srimad Bhagavatam 1.13.58
* Arci, wife of King Prithu - SB 4.23.22
* Bahuka's wife (she was prevented from doing it) - SB 9.8.3
* Kunti and Madri (both wanted to do it, but only Madri did) - Mahabharata Adi Parva
* wives of warriors who died at Prabhasa - Mbh 2.35 (Krishna Dharma's edition)

Reasons for sati - Garuda Purana 2.38.29-32 (J.L. Shastri edition).
